History of the Mosque:

Masjid Abu Bakr Siddique Mosque was established in October, 2002 in the Westwood Community of Cincinnati, Ohio. Prior to that there was no formal mosque in the community. In Muslim faith, anytime a few brothers and sisters live in an area, it’s an obligation to establish a congregation venue so everyone can have a place to practice and learn their religion. A few brothers and sisters came together and established what would become Masjid Abu Bakr. The congregation started with just few members and today, we are several hundred members. It is still growing everyday with new members coming from different states, cities and countries. It is a very diverse community that is strong and prosperous. As anything worth investing in, the beginning is hard but in the long run, it gets easier. With the help of Allah and everyone in the community putting in their effort we were able to grow to what we are today. But we are still growing and with the world being more connected than ever we need all the help we can get to keep growing.
